Postpartum/Newborn Services
Support to help you feel rested, recharged, and ready to handle life with your newborn

Daytime Support
My goal is to offer flexible support that helps you check off your mental to-do list. I want you to feel more relaxed and bonded with your baby by the time I leave.
I can provide household help with laundry, food prep, cleaning and groceries. Additionally, I can help with organizing baby gear, setting up the nursery, or helping you sort out what you might need as your baby grows. I offer guidance on babywearing, car seat safety, and safe sleep practices..

Overnight Support
During overnight shifts, my goal is to support both baby and parents in getting as much rest as possible. Throughout the night, I respond to your baby's needs and gently support them back to sleep in a biologically respectful way. I am always responsive and never use cry-it-out methods. Once your little one is asleep, I take care of tasks like washing dishes, cleaning bottles, tidying up, and doing children’s laundry, so you can wake up to a calm, organized space.

Babywearing Support
Babywearing is an incredible tool to bond with your babe and get things done handsfree (did you know it also counts as tummy time?). Newborns are delicate and ensuring you have a safe fit in your carrier is crucial. I'm here to help you feel comfortable and secure in your carrier, provide product options, let you try on some different kinds, and ensure your precious baby is safe and comfy too.

What is the different between a newborn care specialist & postpartum doula?
As a postpartum doula my goal is to help you feel cared for, supported, and more connected with your baby. Services include: baby care and education, emotional and physical support for birthing parent, household help, organizing baby gear and nursery setup, etc.

As a newborn care specialist, my focus is dedicated to baby care and establishing healthy routines from the beginning. I support your newborn with: gentle sleep shaping and biologically respectful nighttime care, feeding, soothing, and daily support, guidance in creating consistency that helps baby and parents thrive.

Many families choose a blend of both postpartum doula and newborn care specialist support. They overlap a lot, but I like to explain the difference so families can be informed. Typically, a job that is solely focused on newborn care would be primarily overnight shifts 2-4 times per week for 4-8 weeks. Postpartum doula is most often fewer shifts and includes daytime as well.
I'm happy to tailor to your family's needs.
